Privacy Policy
Why do we collect your personal information?
When you contact us to enquire about our services we will collect your name, address and contact details from you. This is to enable us to provide you with a quotation for our services, and to perform those services should you employ us as your architect.
If you are a supplier or consultant that we work with, we collect your name and company details including company addresses and your contact details. This is in order to be able to start or continue working with you on projects that we are involved with.
We do not collect any sensitive information about you, such as your bank or payment details. We ask our clients to pay us by bank transfer so we cannot access this information.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data.
We will only share your information if necessary in order to perform our services to you. Examples include (but are not limited to) submissions of Planning or Building Regulations applications on your behalf, or obtaining external consultant quotations on your behalf.
Our accountant has access to some of your personal information (contained on our invoices) in order for us to fulfil our legal obligations.
If you are a supplier or consultant, we will only share your details with our client if they are considering making a purchase through you or if they require a quotation for your services.
How we store and protect your information
The information is held electronically and is encrypted and password protected.
Hard copies of contract documents, letters and drawings are held at our office.
Access to your information, correction and removal
You have a right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. You can ask us to correct or remove any information that is incorrect or that you do not want us to retain.
We are required to store client data and project records for a minimum of 6 years after completing our services to you as required to do so in our professional services contract with you. After 6 years, we reserve the right to retain copies of the drawings which we have prepared for your project for our own use as examples of our work. We will obscure or remove your information from the drawings if you ask us to. Your personal information will never be made public.
If you are a supplier or consultant, we will hold your data indefinitely unless you ask us to remove your information. If you request that we remove your details, we will no longer be able to contact you or work with you on any of our projects.
Marketing
We may occasionally send marketing emails or correspondence. If you do not wish to receive these, please click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our marketing emails. Alternatively, you can send an email to hello@artisarchitects.com and ask us to remove you from our marketing emails and we will update your contact preferences.
We may contact you after completion of your project to ask for feedback on our services or to take photos of completed projects for our portfolio and website. Your personal information will remain confidential at all times.
If you have requested a quotation and we haven't heard back from you, we may contact you to ask if you are still interested in our services. If you would not like to be contacted in this way, please let us know and we will not contact you again.
